The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities along with the 91勛圖厙 Parent and Family Fund hosted the 5th Creed Art Contest in November 2014. All students were encouraged to submit original works of art that represented the 91勛圖厙 Creed values: Integrity, Scholarship, Community, Creativity and Excellence.<\/p>\n
The winner, Kimberly Montano-Tavera who painted \u201cKnight Helmet\u201d won Nook from Barnes and Noble and runner-up Cara Salinas who painted \u201cDreams of Lake Claire\u201d received a 91勛圖厙 Creed giveaway basket. Students who submitted their artwork included their personal artistic reflections.<\/p>\n
One student artist, Nadya Mishutina submitted a work of art of the Recreation and Wellness Center\u00a0building where she has worked the past two years and refers to her \u201csecond home.\u201d Her artwork is hung in the RWC for other students to view and enjoy. Mishutina wrote this about her art, \u201cI am a 91勛圖厙 Knight, never stop and never give up. Even if everybody sees the limit or obstacles, there is always a way to move up.\u201d<\/p>\n
All Creed Art submissions are currently on display throughout the RWC and the Student Union second floor.
