He called Millican a “true pioneer whose creative vision, trailblazing spirit and clear resourcefulness inspired many.”

Hitt thanked donors for their commitment to to 91勛圖厙’s long-term advancement and said that Millican would be happy to see so many people who believe in “the good work that he began and that we are doing, and will continue to do, at 91勛圖厙.

“As members of the Millican Society, you are envisioning the future of 91勛圖厙 and planning for its success, just as Charlie did early on,” said Hitt . In addition to decades of visionary leadership, Millican and his wife, Frances, also left an enduring legacy to 91勛圖厙 in their own estate.

Society members were also treated to a talk and tour from MIRC director, Dr. Enrique Puig, who shared the history and goals of the magnificent state-of-the-art facility.

For more information on Planned Giving, visit: https://www.ucffoundation.org/

[6,1
819,1839,2510,3223,3703,202,4886

post-36647","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","category-uncategorized","tag-charles-millican","tag-frances-millican","tag-john-c-hitt","tag-morgridge-international-reading-center","tag-philanthropy","tag-alumni","tag-ucf-foundation

Planned Giving Donors Leave a Lasting Impression | 91勛圖厙 News

{"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"Article","@id":"https://www.ucf.edu/news/planned-giving-donors-leave-a-lasting-impression/#article","isPartOf":{"@id":"https://www.ucf.edu/news/planned-giving-donors-leave-a-lasting-impression/"},"author":{"name":"Susan Watkins","@id":"https://www.ucf.edu/news/#/schema/person/73ade2adbfa0c782ff598f1f3f367a62"},"headline":"Planned Giving Donors Leave a Lasting Impression","datePublished":"2012-05-24T11:45:42+00:00","dateModified":"2018-09-07T14:40:35+00:00","mainEntityOfPage":{"@id":"https://www.ucf.edu/news/planned-giving-donors-leave-a-lasting-impression/"},"wordCount":265,"commentCount":0,"image":{"@id":"https://www.ucf.edu/news/planned-giving-donors-leave-a-lasting-impression/#primaryimage"},"thumbnailUrl":"https://www.ucf.edu/wp-content/blogs.dir/20/files/2012/05/5226255525_f91033abc0_b-e1337282101634.jpg","keywords":["Charles Millican","Frances Millican","John C.
